Cons: No laptops allowed, even though her slides and course materials are online. She's almost as inert as the fossils we're studying.
Run away - run far away! Taking her for 1376 is like sitting in front of a robotic kindergarten teacher who just happens to despise you.
To do well, you must: study slide handouts, read the book, review vocabulary lists, study practice quizzes (roughly eight per chapter, 4-5 chapters per test) and review the homework questions. In class, all she does is read her slides out loud.
A student (not me) asked her how much time was remaining for the test. Her response: get a watch.
Cons: does not go over exams, heavy reading load
for the serious student only
Cons: Strictly lectures without anytime to ask questions. Test are relatively difficult.
Study the powerpoints especially the maps, Also try to look at as many of the practice quizzes and homework as you can for the test.
