Run away - run far away! Taking her for 1376 is like sitting in front of a robotic kindergarten teacher who just happens to despise you. To do well, you must: study slide handouts, read the book, review vocabulary lists, study practice quizzes (roughly eight per chapter, 4-5 chapters per test) and review the homework questions. In class, all she does is read her slides out loud. A student (not me) asked her how much time was remaining for the test. Her response: get a watch.

Pros: She knows her stuff. Would be good to work with as a graduate student (although she hasn't published in almost twenty years.)
Cons: No laptops allowed, even though her slides and course materials are online. She's almost as inert as the fossils we're studying.
